Not much caught my eye at the duty free on the way home, it was rushed so very quick eyeballing took place, but this stood out, I've seen before and as a bit of a car fan ticked the box for me and who dosent love an Aston Martin.

Bowmore Islay single malt Scotch, a 10 year old, 40% finished in Spanish oak sherry casks and hogsheads, floating about on various sites from 100 to 150 quid, picked this up for £55 for a litre bottle, which wasnt bad and is the 7th edition of this travel exclusive.

The notes sound amazing, dark amber in colour, sun dried fruit, baked Seville orange and toasted maple on the nose, sultanas, sea salt and dark fruit oils on the palate, with a peat-smoked walnut and spice finish.

Not sure if il open it or put it with the collectable section, but I can rarely keep from pulling the cork out of anything so we shall see ....... for now it gets parked in the garage, as the closest thing to an Aston Martin I'm likely to have in there.
