The tourist route 👌 didn't disappoint!
It seemed like a good day to go and check out the North Ledge lookout spot in Mundaring. It's a place I've been near so many times, and I'm always curious about it. The first time I tried riding out there years ago I ended up getting into downhill on my hardtail 😂 I didn't pull in for any DH runs today, although I reckon it'd be cool to go back for some soon, but I did enjoy a couple of bits of singletrack along the way. The views on the ledge were pretty epic, but there were also a couple of actual tourists up there doing their thing so I just pulled over for a quick snap of the Weir through the trees while I scoffed down a banana.
Anyway, I think I'll try to get out there more often, and definitely not wait years to go again. It was a nice, relatively easy, enjoyable, scenic ride with some sprinklings of singletrack and fire road shenanigans to top it off.
Now that the easy rides are done for the week, I'm keen as a bean to put a little elbow grease on a bigger loop this weekend! 🕺🕺
