💥Day 10✅💥 Woke up today, with a little bit of a sleep in before I cracked on and started chipping away at the Km’s. Got a startle by a couple galloping horses and saw a very persuasive sign! “give us ya shoes” after nearly handing them over, I thought I still have a hell of a long way to go, so i pedalled on. 40km to Cadney for a picture with the 50m long trucks I have to deal with and a couple hot pies. One of the guys in the pub mentioned to me about that oversize load “earthmover” today and how everyone had to get off into the shoulder. Over the UHF intercom the truckie goes “biker up ahead, don’t worry he’s wearing hi-viz… you can’t miss him”. Knowing that made me feel a bit happier haha. Not much at all for the next 70km. Met some really cool German bike packers in marla! Been travelling since march. As you can see I was pretty excited. Got some snacks from Marla and an Outback Burger at the pub with the Germans. Pitched tent next to a dead snake. Had a swim and shower! Pub energy is buzzing as 50 odd army guys are coming for the night! Boy is it going to get rowdy hahha! 118km done and off to bed early I reckon! Onto day 11. Also we hit 1000km for the trip! Woohoo not even half way 😅
