Here's farmer Geraint Davies with one of his favourite hedges on his farm in Snowdonia National Park:
"I love all my hedges equally but this one is one that I’ve planted where there wasn’t a hedge 12 years ago. It’s been fantastic to see it grow to what it is today!"
Not only do hedgerows support nature recovery and biodiversity, they are also vital in supporting farming sustainability, reducing flood risk and soil loss, providing shelter for livestock and improving freshwater quality 🍃
