Loviette’s 1st birthday was full of love and Romeo + Juliet. Her name was created using the word “love” and “Juliet” hence the theme we chose 🤍.
Romeo + Juliet has always been a big inspiration in my life truly believing love at first sight (I seriously laid eyes on Scott and said I pick that one!) and also the creative visuals from Baz Luhrmann’s version.
We took to Verona Beach but with a modern twist of a beach club. It was so much fun to design a beautiful welcome sign, seating and centerpieces (the boho tables were intimate and perfect for the theme while tables and chairs for elders were comfy, a themed bar display (so glad we decided on a bartender last minute), dessert display (@thesugarangel is truly talented), fun beach chairs, lounge areas for additional seating, and awesome statutes about (look at Mary) a staple in the movie, the kids had a blast with the ball pit, and catered tacos (@my_taco_revolution display was the upscale look we wanted x tacos), and sticking to a single balloon color really popped the modern vibes we were going for. I could wake up to this for a long time and already miss everything about it!
