I want to talk about being a SINGLE MOM ‼️

Somewhere along the way, it seems as though this phrase has grown to blend in as the same as a set of parents — FYI: it’s not even close to the same concept, unless 2 means 1 AND 1 also means 1.

Or — some sort of other alteration that a single mom should be weak, or desperate, or struggling.

Here’s what I can tell you 👇🏼

1. Single moms are some of the absolute toughest women on this planet. Maybe even into another galaxy.
2. Desperation exists for any parent, whether you’re doing it alone or not. One could say a single mom is likely more able to survive “in the wild” than another who’s depended upon a hunter, or a second income, because she’s learned to do it herself and lived through it every time.
3. There are going to be tears. Let’s not kid ourselves, parents. There may be a few more with a single mom, because she’s making up for 2 people, so mathematically, makes sense.

If you’re a single mom, I get you and I get that it’s often misunderstood. Keep being strong and send me a message if you need a friend because I really do understand.

Now, here’s the big twist. DO WELL. Don’t just settle for half because there’s only 1 of you. In the past year alone, I’ve more than 10X’d stats across multiple areas of my life… because I know a single mother is one of the most determined and resilient — and YES, I have fallen so flat on my face, right in that thick mud you know?

Keep going. Just keep going. The game was never to maintain total composure while you’re doing a marathon with only one leg. The game was to see how fast, how well, how long you could go — improve YOUR abilities, and don’t listen to the stereotype. Aim to blow it out of the water.

I know you can, single mom.
