A BATTLE 'TIL THE END ⚽️ On Thursday, the SBH Girls Soccer team competed for the CAASC State Championship against Winston Salem Christian. The Lady Eagles led 1-0 on a Makayla Opie goal before WSC scored 10 minutes before the end of regulation.
The ladies had one chance at goal and were not able to convert, sending the game into overtime. In the second overtime, WSC managed to score, and the Eagles were not able to respond. This was a hard-fought match-up. SBH played well but was not able to come away with the win, losing 2-1.
Not the outcome we wanted, but we congratulate the Girls Soccer team for an incredible season! 👏🏽👏🏽
