Tea stained cyanotypes ripped and combined with acrylic
For this self portrait I wanted to find a way to use all these cyanotype scraps I had while also making a portrait that felt like me without a face. I really enjoyed how this came out there’s something about omitting the typical facial expressions that had been appealing to me. I’ve also been fascinated by mask and the idea of identity lately so I think some of that came through.
