A lunch catch up with @makedamatheson took us to @arcadecoffeefood last weekend.
I sampled the Stuffed Aubergine from the All Day Brunch menu. It was absolutely delicious. It was spiced with harrisa and stuffed with salsa macha, torched tofu, green lentils, caramelised cashew nuts and a radicchio and burnt orange salad. There were so many flavours which all worked so well together. The aubergine was perfectly cooked and paired so well with everything else. The torched tofu added a soft texture whereas the cashews added a sweet crunch. Definatley recommend this dish and it gets bonus points for being plant based! 🍆🍆🍆
We had a lovely lunch and nattered for so long we ended up staying for another drink which came with a complementary bowl of crisps to nibble on which was a lovely touch. Thanks for having us!
