AURORA IN VIRGINIA LAST NIGHT!!! What an incredible sight to see and photograph for the first time! The colors were very faint to the eye but seeing the back of the camera was thrilling each time. These are single exposures of 15 to 20 seconds taken from 10:30 to 11:30 p.m. in my parents’ backyard. I’m so grateful they have very few neighbors and light pollution to the north!
