Well. Here I am, friends. I kind of can’t believe it. It’s a foggy day in beautiful blue Nova Scotia, and I’m sitting on my dad’s lazy boy by a roaring fire in the living room of my childhood home which sits on the top of a hill, enveloped in blue green pine trees.
Here are a few snippets of my visit so far. Reading Wild Trails to the Sea on a soft patch of moss and leaves in the coastal wood behind my childhood best friend, @ohdina’s house. Meeting author and now dear friend @forestandpages in person for the first time. SEEING the book for the first time for real. Installing a Wild Trails window in my childhood’s beloved @woozlesbooks and signing books with Penelope in preparation for the book launch tomorrow!
It has been pretty emotional, honestly! I almost didn’t know how to share about it. Feeling pretty grateful and full of love and connection to home.
