After 20 years away from the š“dressage show ringš“, today marks a truly special comeback, in a week we make a big step together. This saddle pad might seem simple, but for Willow and me, it represents a monumental step on our journey. The blue? They're a tribute to my dadāthe best of show dads. I so wish he were here to talk about my rides and talk through the things we're doing and trying to get that one ride that leaves you floating on clouds.
Returning to my passion for riding after dedicating years to raising my wonderful children and navigating a demanding career feels both exhilarating and daunting. This isnāt about the ribbons or the applause; it's about reigniting a passion that was put on hold, a celebration of overcoming the challenges and sacrifices along the way. I am so grateful for Chris who has supported and encouraged me to do this again. He's truly the biggest blessing and life partner.
To everyone whoās put a dream on hold: let this be your sign to take that step forward. Start that journey. Iām proof that itās never too late to chase what brings you joy. Iām riding again, facing new challenges, and rediscovering a joy I thought was lost.
Iām excited, Iām nervous, and more than anything, Iām ready. Hereās to new beginningsāno matter how long theyāve been waiting. Willow and I canāt wait to see where this path takes us.
