ICE! This gorgeous Rottweiler is 2.5 years old and he is so puppy-like 😂 We had a fun session today chatting about some of his resource guarding behaviours and challenges with visitors at home. He has some great training foundations already so we added in a few management suggestions for visitors to combine with the training, including some more enrichment ideas. He loves his Kong so using this and more ideas to build positive associations with visitors (while not triggering any resource guarding) is one layer of what we’ll put into his plan. We are also looking at some nosework for more mental stimulation each day and he looooved it - he is such a good searcher! It was awesome to see how happy he was and I just love this photo of his ‘happy tongue’ at the end of our session. Cant wait to hear how he goes with his plan! #proactivecaninetraining
