Story behind the shot:
When you find yourself in the jungle, patience is key to capturing the perfect photograph. During one memorable encounter with a majestic beast, I found myself seated in the last row of a line of vehicles, with approximately 20-25 cars flanking both sides of our subject.
As the tiger began to walk directly towards us, the chaos ensued as every vehicle jostled for position. Amidst the commotion, the tiger crossed the road, leaving us all in a state of bewilderment and pointing fingers at each other.
Little did we know, the tiger had never left its territory; it was merely observing us from the safety of its domain. While others speculated about the tiger’s whereabouts, we remained steadfast in our belief that it would return to mark its territory.
True to our instincts, we were rewarded when the tiger reappeared, walking alongside our vehicle for approximately 2-3 kilometers. Unbeknownst to everyone else, we had the privilege of experiencing this incredible moment, graciously bestowed upon us by the tiger itself.”.
