This time last year I was blessed to attend the Wiyi Yani U Thangani National summit - we are the change as a sponsored delegate.
It was a jam packed 5 day event in Canberra standing with giants such as June Oscar AO, Marcia Langton AO and Dr Jackie Huggins to name a few. It was a powerful event raising and creating the framework to address First Nations women’s equality. They assured us this would not be another report that gathered dust on the shelf somewhere in Parliament and they meant it.
