Fait intéressant: dans la Grèce et la Rome antiques, même si la fête des mères telle que nous la connaissons n'existait pas vraiment, l'idée d'honorer la maternité était célébrée par des fêtes centrées sur la déesse Héra, la déesse Déméter et la mère ancestrale Gaïa.
