Ten years ago today I launched my Food-Wine-Travel newsletter & website with 3 dishes, all still favourites though the recipes have changed a bit in the past decade. Haven't we all? The moral of the story? The longest journey begins with one step. I launched my passion project while climbing out of the darkest time in my life, I had been so wounded I had nothing left to fear so I put myself out there. The photos aren't perfect then or now, of me or the dishes, they don't have to be. They're real and so am I, what I do comes from my heart. Ten years inspiring others to get into the kitchen and give it a go. I'm proud of that! Thanks to everyone who's shared the journey with me thus far: the cooks who've become friends, my amazing chef mates who've taught me so much, awesome suppliers who've shared their fabulous produce with me, my friends & family who've supported me unconditionally. Here's to the next 10 and 10 more after that for good measure!
