Did you know that the tulip 🌷(laleh in both Farsi & Turkish) was originally a wild flower in Central Asia? Thanks to the Ottomans, they became all the rage, and in 1637 might even cost you more than a fine Dutch home or really lovely houseboat for that matter 🏠
