OUT WITH THE OLD…HAPPY NEW YEAR

📍The experiences we have exposure to give us the opportunities to create the memories we can revisit & replay indefinitely. After all…..when all is said & done, that’s all we have left!
📍2021 continued to bring challenges to so many for so many different reasons, memorable for both reasons of adversity, & for reasons borne out of positivity.
📍2021 for me was a mixture of all of these things, including another year without seeing my parents or friends. The undoubted highlight however, was an athlete I’m very proud to coach, winning the Chinese National Games with a throw of 84.54n back in September, elevating his level as a thrower but moreover achieving something even he wasn’t sure was ever going to possible after an injury affected 2020.
📍Whatever the reasons we are where we are, one thing is for certain…..never stop believing in yourself & never stop chasing your dream. You may be derailed from time to time, but there will always be enough of the truly incredible & important people believing in you to convince you that the difficult moments don’t last forever & certainly don’t have to define you. Life’s too short….
📍2021 was a very special year for this young man & to have been part of that journey was both amazing & humbling in equal measure.
📆2022 I’m sure, will bring its own unique experiences which will form the basis of a whole new set of memories.
