Graphite is so satisfying to draw with. So far, creating the decayed textures on the bones has been the most fulfilling part of the piece.
I'm glad I decided to fill in the black background as one of the first steps this time. It has helped me with the finer ink details on the flowers, etc. I wish I would have decided that on my last larger piece. lol
