Ongoing in Spain, Singapore, Korea and Australia are installation-based projetcs by Yavuz artist duo Isabel and Alfredo Aquilizan. <br /><br />At the PODO Museum in Jeju Island is ‘Address', a large-scale installation consisting of 140 units of package boxes that symbolize the packages sent overseas for emigration or supplies sent from families back home. The artists create a metaphor of the tiresome experience of immigrant life in a large house packed to the brim with people's daily goods. The work is on view as part of the group presentataion "Yet, With Love" that runs until 3 July 2023. <br /><br />Over in the Museum of Contemporary Art of Castilla y León, they are exhibiting ‘Project Another Country: That Space in Between’ until 6 Novemvber 2022. The work traces Philippine-Spanish relations through the Manila Galleon, an early symbol of globalization and migratory flows. <br /><br />In the National Gallery of Singapore, the Aquilizans have created 'Head/Home', an immersive floating city that invites children to be imaginative and express what their idea of a home is.
